ABOUT DR. ASAD ALI SHAH
Dr. Asad Ali Shah is a professor, researcher, and entrepreneur. He has earned his Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. His core areas of interest are social research methods, technology & innovation, media literacy and misinformation. He has been conducting several workshops and seminars on academic and non-academic topics at national and international forums. He has been teaching at different universities in Pakistan and Canada. He is the author of a number of publications, including a book, journal articles, and reports. He is actively engaged in various social and community welfare projects and also supervises several academic researches. After completing his doctoral degree in Canada, Dr. Shah returned to Pakistan in 2018 to serve his country. Dr. Shah is co-founder of Fake News Watchdog, heading a tech research company, teaching at a private university, and also leading a research & publication network. He is very active on his social media.

A series of Digital Entrepreneurship Workshops have been conducted several times annually by Dr. Asad Ali Shah with the help of Riphah Institute of Media Sciences, Riphah International University, Sarwar Foundation, and Karakoram International University Gilgit-Baltistan.
